Which Sonic boss is your least favorite, meaning the hardest, and why. One of my least favorite is Wing Fortress. They have you trapped in the plane in a small cramped room with spike bottomed platforms flying in a pattern that's hard to predict, while a large laser that takes little time to charge (which means little time to hit) starts blasting on the ground while moving! I have more problems with this boss than I do in Death Egg from Sonic 2. Then, of course, they had to bring it back as a mini-boss in Flying Battery (although it's 100 times easier) and as a sub-boss in Sonic and Knuckles' Death Egg. This is why that every time I die on that boss I go back and get the extra-life at point #9 mentioned at Wing Fortress guidence. Luckily, after the boss, the game supplies you with another extra life in the plane's cockpit for Death Egg. So, what boss do you think is the hardest and why.

I hate that one too. I'm not sure though. I'm pretty good at most of them. I don't like the final Death Egg Boss (Sonic 3 & Knuckles)
2.
That boss is especially hard because all your rings bounce away from you and you can't get them back. But I'm actually glad that there are challenging bosses like that. The bosses I don't like are the stupid self-defeating ones in Sonic & Knuckles; they're quite unimaginative, not to mention boring to fight against.

I'd have to say the worst would be Sonic CD's Quartz Quadrant Boss. I don't see the point in chasing Robotnik forever and then when you do get him, you have to -breathe- your way to hit him. That is just really messed up.
3.
Cruizer, just figured I'd let you know, that was Tidal Tempest. The one for Quartz Quadrent was the tredmill with the spikes at the back, and you had to keep on running to dodge the spikey ball Robotnik tried to drop on you.
4.
I might be tempted to say the Tidal Tempest one could be one of my favourites actually. Surrounding Eggman in bubbles is quite a clever idea, I always thought. It's something a bit different.

I think for the worst bosses, you definitely have to look to some of the 3D games. I quite like Sonic Heroes, but its bosses are not among its best features, especially the two that are nothing more than an uninspired string of enemies or team battles that can end in about 5 seconds. I recall being particularly frustrated by the Egg Emperor boss too.

Ah...whoops. Thanks for correcting me.

You could also consider Egg Lancer from Unleashed (Wii/PS2) as it's not very creative. All it does is takes elements from two previous bosses, puts it in a new location and also adds these quick-time events that could make you start the whole level over again.

And yeah Egg Emperor is really annoying.
5.
most underpowered- Turquoize Hill zone boss on Sonic Chaos. Has no ranged attacks moves really slow and only takes 5 hits.

most overpowered- Twinkle Snow boss on Sonic Advance 3, hardest boss i've ever seen in a Sonic game
6.
The worst boss (easiest) for me would be Green Hill Zone for Sonic 1 Game Gear.
The hardest boss?...maybe the ones in Sonic Advance 2...they get on my nerves!
7.
The worst boss for me would have to be "King Boom Boo" on Sonic Adventure two (fought with Knuckles). I hated how you had to chase his shadow around and dig it out to hit the boss. It wasn't necessarily hard but, it was nevertheless annoying. And the Sonic Heroes Metal OverLord was personally a disappointment for me. I think personally that Sonic Team's games began their rapid decline in ratings after they remade the wonderful original Sonic Adventure series games from the DC and when they made Sonic Heroes. I missed having to fight Robotnik in his wacky robots and machines. I miss the Death Egg. Heck, I even miss calling him Robotnik. He doesn't seem intimidating anymore calling him, "Eggman".

I think the worst boss I fought would be the Collision Chaos's boss from Sonic CD. That boss is just so frustrating for me. It feels more like luck when you get past him. I do think it was a rather interesting boss though.

I wasn't to fond of the Egg Emperor. I don't think I ever completed it with Chaotix yet, or if Team Dark fights it either.

Easiest: Green Hill zone's boss in Sonic the Hedgehog for the Gamegear. You can beat him before he even attacks you!

Hardest: Not sure, but the boss "Big Swell" from sonic rush adventure took a few lives. Takes a while to kill and has some vicious attacks!
9.
Another boss battle that I hate is The Doomsday from Sonic and Knuckles. I have NEVER defeated this boss. Not that I could ever get to the boss without stage selecting cheat because I'm not very good at the speacial stages, but if I do use level select I can't win that level. I always run out of rings and fall to my death. I could beat him on the first part with the missiles that you guide into him, then he turns into the final boss from Sonic 2 and I need to keep chasing him until I hit him enough times. It should be easier because it gives you rings while you fight him in this part, but it's not (at least to me it's not).
10.
Easiest: That retard from Sandopolis Act 1. Nithing else needs to be said.
Hardest: Tie with Pussymobile (Labyrinth boss) and Eggman Robot as Knuckles.
Why Pussymobile: I'm always so busy that i get hit from spike! And water is evil. Always.
Why Eggman Robot: Isn't that obivious!?
11.
I think the hardest boss is Egg Emporor just like LiQuidshade. Death Egg Emporeor is hard too. considering there's no rings in the entire stages. Along with S3&K death Eggand the Doomsday.I actually lost a life when I first fought Chaos 0 and the guy from Sandopolis. Golly they're hard
Most annoying: for the most annoying that @#$%es me off is Perfect Chaos.
12.

sonic1rocks2:egg vaper
it toke me me 105 lives lolol
I found him quite easy but rather tedious. And cheap I find the suicide attack easy since teh fairy tells you. Don't spindash jump cuz I didn't even think of spindashing.

Biolizard from SA2B or Lancelot Returns from SatBK

Quartz Quadrant was one of easiest bossses I ever played. My favorites are Wing Fortress, Doomsday, Death Egg (S3K), Sandopolis mini-boss and Lava Reef mini-boss.
